He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Pung and Josephine Pung (Smith); his parents-in-law, Alex and Bernita Vitek; and his siblings-in-law, Robert Vitek, Glen Hinkley and Jackie Pung.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Pung; his children, Alan Pung (Robin), Geri Pennell, Jeff Pung (Pam) and Patti Fowler (Bryan); his grandchildren, Alex, Allison, Rana, Joel (Kara), Brent, Ryan, Jacob, Rachel (Nate) and Brittany; his great grandchildren, Savannah, Cameron and Ember; his siblings, Ron Pung and Mary Theis (Leon); his in-laws, Ray Vitek (Sharon), John Vitek (Camilla), Agnes "Marie" Showers (Bob), Dee Hinckley, Rich Vitek (Marilyn), Larry Vitek, Jane Vitek and Diane Wemlinger (John); and his sister-in-law Cindy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
