He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Wieber and Florence Wieber (Fedewa); his son-in-law Mark Noel; and his brothers-in-law, Dennis Thelen and Joseph Fedewa.

He is survived by: his wife Patricia Wieber (Thelen); his children, Wayne Wieber (Tina), Lynn Strong (Scott), Brian Wieber (Jayne), Debbie Schaar (Brent Pohl), Michelle Noel and Tim Wieber (Bobbi); his grandchildren, Jordan Wieber (Manisha), Kristin Schafer (Derek), Dustin Wieber (Taylor), Christopher, Austin, Garrett Strong, Kirstie Yelton (Chad), Kenzie Fedewa (Evan), Gavin (Amanda), Allison, Preston Schaar, Nick, Macy Noel and Elijah Wieber; and his sisters, Joni Thelen and Janice Fedewa. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
