Clair Martin Thelen Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Clair Martin Thelen of Westphalia, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 19, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Thelen and Mary Thelen; his stepmother Agnes Thelen; his parents-in-law, John and Alvina Martin; his siblings, Dennis Thelen, Joseph Mark Thelen, David Thelen, Sr. and Norma Thelen; his daughter-in-law Jan Thelen (Perry); his granddaughter Crystal Weber; and his siblings-in-law, Cliff Martin (Adelene), Bob Martin (Bernadine), Jim Becker, Jack Martin (Marie), Dale Martin, Genevieve Simon (Clarence), Eileen Schafer (Bernard) and Pauline Goerge.
He is survived by: his wife Catherine Thelen; his children, Lisa Davidson (Thom), Perry Thelen (Shirley) and Mark Thelen (Pam); his siblings, Rosemary Nurenberg (John), Tom Thelen (Barb), Virginia Drake (Melvin) and Linda Thelen (Don); and his sisters-in-law, Alice Becker (Jim) and Joan Thelen. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren.
A rosary will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 at 1:30 PM at the St. Mary's Funeral Chapel (210 N Westphalia St, Westphalia, MI 48894). Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (201 N Westphalia St, Westphalia, MI 48894).
