The memory of Vasiliki Metaxas (Westland, Michigan), who passed away on December 13, 2024 at the age of 90, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. For Vasiliki is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her spouse Athanasios'Tom'. She is survived by: her son Nick (Susan); her grandchildren, Thomas, David and Nicholas; and her friend Olympus. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family members.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church (36375 Joy Rd, Westland, MI 48185). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 7:00 PM and on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
