He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Sr. Ashe and Lorraine Ashe (Scavarda); his daughter Elizabeth "Betsy" Scott (Dorian); his stepson Timothy Johns (Anna); and also Sarah Richardson.
He is survived by: his daughter Michelle Sadler (Steve); his stepsons, Mark Johns and Doug Johns (Amy); his grandchildren, Sarah Jankowiak (Tyler), John "Mikey" Stover (Megan Grasela), Noah Janeczko, Stephen Sadler Jr., Elijah, Doriann, Lailah and Donovan Scott; his great grandchildren, Jonah, Elsie Jankowiak, Joseph and Jackson Stover; and his siblings, Lorry Kempf (Jerry), Peter Ashe, Gerard Ashe (Fran) and John Ashe. He is also survived by his family, friends.
