We are sad to announce that on January 18, 2025, at the age of 83, Phyllis Taylor-Stiltner of Westland, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harley Reeves and Delphia Reeves (Anthony); her husband James Taylor; her former husband Eugene Stiltner; her sister Virginia; and her half-siblings, Art, Curtis, Victor and Rosemona.
She is survived by: her children, Jimmy Taylor (Tina) of Belleville, MI, Johnny Taylor (Theresa) of Belleville, MI, Joseph Taylor (Yolie) of Ypsilanti, MI, Jack Taylor (Kelli) of Belleville, MI and Judy Samons (Mike) of Ypsilanti, MI. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren (with one on the way), and 1 great-great grandchild, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and neighbors.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the David C Brown Funeral Home (460 E Huron River Dr, Belleville, MI 48111). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at the Knollwood Cemetery.
