Though Mary Rose may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Stempkowski and Anna Stempkowski; her husband Harry Gozdzialski; and her son Daniel Gozdzialski. She is survived by: her children, Harriet Aquino (Louie) and Richard "Buzz" Gozdzialski (Mary Jo Shaw). She is also survived by her five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 29th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the L. J. Griffin Funeral Home - Westland (7707 Middlebelt Rd, Westland, MI 48185). A rosary was held on Sunday, September 29th 2024 at 5:00 PM at the same location. The lying in state was held on Monday, September 30th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Barbara Catholic Church (13534 Colson St, Dearborn, MI 48126). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, September 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
