She was predeceased by: her sisters, Canary, Mozella Brown and Maxine Boynton; her grandmothers, Maggie Walker Robinson and Ella Rutledge Flemings; her mother Gladys; and her grandson Matthew A. Jenkins.
She is survived by: her daughters, Gladys Fleming and Thomas Robinson; her former husband James Edwards Jr.; her children, James Edwards Jr., Matthew (Kelly), Mark (Karunia), Marian (Kathleen) and Michael (Jill); her grandchildren, Jasmine Marie, Melony, Melissa, Mark Jr., Mianna, Mikhail, Michael, Andrea and Jasmine Margaret; and her great grandchildren, Joshua, Maria, Joseph, Josiah and Maja.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Chapel of the Chimes Funeral Home-Westland (4670 S Inkster Rd, Dearborn Heights, MI 48186). A celebration of life was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
