He was predeceased by: his parents, Maximillion (Mary Miller) and Jim. He is survived by: his wife Evelyn; his children, James Miller (Jennifer) and Brenda Shapiro (Adam); his grandchildren, Catherine, Riley, Joseph, Reed and Trevor; and his sister Fran Connell (Ray). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM. A rosary was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 7:00 PM at the L. J. Griffin Funeral Home (7707 Middlebelt Rd, Westland, MI 48185). The military honors was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Joy Catholic Church (8200 N Wayne Rd, Westland, MI 48185).
