It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Andrea M. Koinis of Westland, Michigan, who passed away on December 7, 2024, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Andrea may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James Bernardino Gioia Sr. and Kathleen Ann Kramer; and her daughter Julia M. Koinis. She is survived by: her daughter Jessica A. Koinis; her siblings, Jill M Gioia, Kathryn E. Katzman (Dave) and James B Gioia Jr. (Ken Loynes); and her niece Nycole M. Rich (Matt).

Visitation was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM and on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM. A rosary was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the O'Brien Sullivan Funeral Home (41555 Grand River Ave, Novi, MI 48375). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. James Catholic Church (46325 W 10 Mile Rd, Novi, MI 48374).
