Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved William Hammond of West Olive, Michigan, born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away at the age of 70, on February 22, 2021. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert C. Hammond and Erma "Colleen" Hammond (Duncan); his brothers, Nick, Bob, Gerald and Dennis Hammond; and his siblings-in-law, John S. VanderHeide, Jr. and Joan G. Jansma.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Hammond of West Olive; his children, Matt Hammond (Jamie), Anna Sackrison (Benjamin) and Izaak Hammond (Michelle); his grandchildren, Ethan, Alexis, Jaxson, Abby, Alex, Brayden, Madison, Elliot and Harper; and his parents-in-law, Jane VanderHeide and Stuart VanderHeide (Nelleke). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 25, 2021 at Klaassen Family Funeral Home, Grand Haven, from 2 to 4 p. m. and 6 to 8 p. m. Masks and Social Distancing will be required.
