Vernon D. Bloemers Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vernon D. Bloemers of West Olive, Michigan, who passed away on December 2, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Bloemers and Jeanetta Bloemers; his brother Ellwyn Bloemers; and his siblings-in-law, Pam Bouwkamp, Joe Sleeman, Larry Bakker and Melvin Elzinga.

He is survived by: his wife Marcia Bloemers; his daughter Jill (Alan Woods); his grandson Tyler (Diana Woods); his great grandchildren, Logan and Dario; his granddaughter Allison Woods; his sisters, Sandy, Erv Ter Haar and Eunice Bakker; and his sisters-in-law, Jane Sleeman and Margaret Bloemers. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Memorial contributions may be given to Harlem Reformed Church or the Harbor Humane Society.
