She was predeceased by: her husband Gordon Meeuwsen; her parents, Ezra DeMott and Iva Leona DeMott; and her siblings, Jim, Robert, John, Eugene, Marvin DeMott and Veta Kenyon.
She is survived by: her children, Gregory Meeuwsen (Diana), Douglas Meeuwsen (Maria) and Nancy Meeuwsen; her grandchildren, Aila Meeuwsen, Marcella Nocon (Tim) and Mario Rodriguez (Arielle); her great grandchild Lucas Nocon; her grandchildren, Catalina Perez, Andrew Ball and Sawyer Ball; her sister Joyce DeMott; and her sisters-in-law, Norma DeVries (Ron) and Joan Meeuwsen.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the First Reformed Church (11939 James St, Holland, MI 49424). Visitation was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Ottawa Reformed Church (11390 Stanton St, West Olive, MI 49460). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Ottawa Reformed Church Kid's Hope or the Ottawa Reformed Church Youth Group.
