He was predeceased by: his parents, Dan Ebels and Bessie Ebels; his siblings, Annabelle VanDenBelt (Floyd), Jason Ebels (Esther), Pauline Rouwhorst (Claude), Bernie Ebels (Jean), Maxine Hop (June) and Glenn Ebels; his daughter Brenda Peterson; and his grandson Michael Ebels.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Hanson; his children, Terry Ebels (Lisa), Timothy Ebels and Dean Ebels (Linda); his son-in-law Dave Peterson (Susan); his grandchildren, Jennifer Ryckbost (Brian), Sarah DeHaan (Nate), Benjamin Peterson, Marissa Ebels, Liam Peterson and Matthew Ebels; his great grandchildren, Ava Ryckbost, Roland Ryckboat, Rudy Ryckbost and Norah DeHaan; his brother Bob Ebels (Marilyn); and his sister-in-law Mary Ebels.
