He was predeceased by: his former wife Thelma; his daughter Julie; his parents, Daniel Webster Sheler and Nettie (Anastasia); his brothers, Daniel Webster Sheler Jr. (Jean) and David Sheler (Fran); and his sister-in-law Pearl Sheler.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy; his children, Dale Jr. and Wendy Powell (Mark); his granddaughter Lynsey North (Kyle); his great grandchild Maeve; his brothers, Daryl Sheler and Dick Sheler (Nancy); and his sister-in-law Pat Van Loo (Ron). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
