He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou; his children, Nancee, Gary Vander Heide of Hudsonville, Sally, Dave Bareman of West Olive, Brian and Melissa Smith of West Olive; his grandchildren, Stephanie, Rob Bergman, Alyssa, John Blom, Brett Vander Heide, Torry, Rudy Alfaro, Jaycob Bareman, Leah Cano, Megan, Michael Kirkpatrick, Maddie Smith and Derek Haveman; his great grandchildren, Parker, Claire, Micah, Gideon, Seraiah, Josiah, Jena, Armani, Keagan, Savanah, Jaxson, Kenzie and Keith; and his daughter-in-law Marianne Smith. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
