He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Whitaker and Berniece Whitaker; his wife Linda Lou Whitaker; and his sisters-in-law, Grace Sturges and Peggy Tice.
He is survived by: his children, Jason Whitaker (Lori) of Harvey and Amanda Whitaker; his grandchildren, Trever Romback, Alyssa, Hunter, Shelby Whitaker, Chloe Poquette and Carver Poquette; and his brothers-in-law, Ben Sturges of Clinton Township and Gary Tice of Mason. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
