He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Ciaravino and Lorraine Ciaravino (Lutkowski). He is survived by: his daughter Cassandra Rea (Brent) of Macomb Township; his granddaughter Adelina; his sister Beth Ann Adams (David) of Harrison Township; his nephew Christopher Adams of Chesterfield Township; his niece Sarah Adams (Austin Paul) of St. Clair Shores; and his former wife Petra Ciaravino of Macomb Township.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that a donation be made to the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR).
