He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex Johannes and Magdalen Johannes (Henning); and his sisters, Anna Johannes and Sandra Penberthy (Johannes). He is survived by: his wife Judy Johannes (Rabineau) of West Branch; his children, Hans Johannes (Sarah) of Golden, Krista (Jerry) and Pudvan (Johannes) of Bay City; and his grandchildren, Madelynn Johannes, Jerry Pudvan III and George Geikas.
Pete's family asks that donations be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation in lieu of flowers.
