He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Mitchell and Frances Mitchell (Izworski); his son Jeffrey Mitchell; his sisters, Lucille Schroeder and Mary Palazzolo (Joe); his brother-in-law Caesar Cuellar; and his goddaughter Vickie Schroeder.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Mitchell of West Branch, MI; his daughter Julie LaFramboise (Dean Woody) of Bay City; his grandchildren, Melissa Schmidt (Mike) and Matt LaFramboise (Allyson); his great grandchildren, Sydney, Sophie and Jacob Schmidt; his siblings, Joe Mitchell (Donna) and Jane Cueller; and his brothers-in-law, Donald Schroeder and Don DeMatio (Mary).
