He was predeceased by: his parents, George Pierson and Billie Jean Pierson (Burrow); and his brother Dwight Pierson. He is survived by: his wife Penny Johnson; his children, Michael Pierson (Anne) of Midland and Shana Tucker of East Lansing; his sister Darla Harvey (John) of Flint; his grandchildren, Kenneth (Kate), Jared, Koryna (Morgan) and Bailey; his great grandchild Penelope; and his pet Scooby. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
