With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gerald H. Getty (West Branch, Michigan), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 7, 2024 at the age of 90. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gerald H. Getty to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Getty and Marie Getty (Detloff). He is survived by: his children, Jeff Getty of Prescott, MI and Jackie Evans (Ferd) of South Branch, MI; his son-in-law Chris Overley of West Branch, MI.; his grandchildren, Josh Maul, Alicia Monroe (Justin), Paul Overley (Jolynn), Phil Overley (Erica), Lewis Evans (Kellie), Shaun Evans, Emily Evans, Christie Evans and Marty Evans (Sierra); his wife Carol Getty (Roach); his daughter Patti Overley; and his brother Harold Getty. He is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church (2490 State Rd, West Branch, MI 48661). A memorial service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
