He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Tyree and Beulah Tyree (McClure). He is survived by: his wife Patsy Tyree of West Branch; his children, David Tyree of Cary, Janet Moore of Ankeny, Iowa and Bruce Tyree (Nancy) of West Branch; his grandchildren, David Tyree II, Jeannette Cawthorne (Robert), Kalie Gascho (Luke) and Shannon Tyree; and his great grandchildren, Jackson, Tobias, William, Eliza and Lenny.
Gene will be fondly remembered for his love of family, his service to his country, and his contributions to the communities he called home.
