We bid farewell to Dorothy May Karoub of West Branch, Michigan, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 7, 2025 at the age of 83. Dorothy May touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Karoub of West Branch; her parents, Floyd Sykes and Gladys Sykes of Alger; and her siblings, Bill Sykes and Gloria Sykes.
She is survived by: her children, Dawn Karoub of Romulus, Mark Karoub (Kimberly) of Houghton Lake and Dr. Alan Karoub of Roscommon; her grandchildren, Justin Karoub, Johnathon Karoub (Kelsey), Joseph Bottoms (Julie Reese), Samantha Karoub, Joshua Karoub, Marshall Karoub and Justin Bedard; her great grandchildren, Alennie Karoub and Lily West; and her siblings, Barbara Grantham (Gary), Dr. Raymond Sykes, Earl Sykes (Colleen) and Pearl Leitner (Chad). She is also survived by nieces and nephews including great and great-great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Ogemaw Hills Free Methodist Church (3480 M-76, West Branch, MI 48661).
