It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Allen Artie Slade of West Branch, Michigan, born in Pontiac, Michigan, who passed away on February 6, 2021, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Artie Slade and Ruby Slade (Hubel); his wife Karen; and his brothers, Mike, Dan, Dwight and Tim.
He is survived by: his children, Julie DeColumna of West Branch, Amanda Slade of Highlands Ranch, CO, Jennifer Rough (Joe) of West Branch, Artie Slade of West Branch and Andy Slade of West Branch; his stepchildren, Kasie, Jeff and Scott; and his siblings, Gary Slade (Debra) of Port Huron and Sheila Iseminger of Bloomington, IL. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held with precautions, due to the current pandemic, limiting the number of attendees at a given time.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Disabled Veterans of Ogemaw County.
