She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Schultz and Matilda Schultz (Saner). She is survived by: her husband Gary Gates; her children, Nicole Gates and Brian Gates (Carey); her grandchildren, Jack, Alexandra, Walker and Chloe; and her sisters, Ileen Davis, Amy Woodring and Lou Ann Schultz.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Spirit Lutheran Church (4800 Orchard Lake Rd, West Bloomfield Township, MI 48323).
