He was predeceased by: his son Dr. Robert Mills (Jodi); his sister Lorraine Starr (Harvey); his brother-in-law Leonard Dinkin; his parents, Sadie Mills and David D. Mills; and his parents-in-law, Alan and Bessie Dinkin.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Mills; his children, Howard Mills (Judith) and Natalie Mills; and his grandchildren, Jessica, Emily, Jacob and Rebecca. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
