We are sad to announce that on November 28, 2023, Sherman Char of West Bloomfield, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Brad Char (Heidi), Betsy Blackman (Michael Clune) and Bonnie Silas (Glen); his grandchildren, Jared Char, Darin Char, Matthew Blackman, Mitchell Blackman, Lauren Silas and Allison Silas; his brother Anthony Char (late Helaine); and his parent Beebe Char. He was also cherished by many loving nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

“Dear Joan, We just heard about Sherm. We will be thinking of you and praying for you and your family this weekend as you have all of his services. I can't tell you how much we both thought of Sherman. He was a little intimidating at first, but we quickly began to look forward to spending time visiting with him under your chickie.
