He was predeceased by: his parents, Alan Rockett and Joyce Rockett-Marchesi. He is survived by: his wife Julie Rockett; his sister Cheryl Cotter; and his nephew Joshua Cotter. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

On February 10, 2023, after a year of dialysis, he received the incredible gift of a kidney donation.
