She was predeceased by: her husbands, Harry Portney and Maurice Sugar; her boyfriend Bill McNabb; her parents, Benjamin Bernstein and Yetta Bernstein; and her brother Edward Bernstein (Reid).

She is survived by: her daughter Lisa Portney-Goldenberg (David Pappas); her grandchildren, Hailee Goldenberg, Dustin Goldenberg, Jeremy Pappas (Abbie) and Kayla Tavor (Elan); and her great grandchildren, Yoni, Koby Pappas, Andrew, Alexa and Arianna Tavor. She is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, and many cherished friends.
