He was predeceased by: his wife Rachel Schane; his siblings, Dr. David Schane (late Sylvia), Anna Curtis (late Ted) and Ernie Curtis (late Dorothy); and his parents, Morris Schane and Miriam Schane.
He is survived by: his daughters, Pamela Lanning (David) and Evelyn Schane (Jimmy Merlo); and his grandchildren, Jael Holzman, Joseph Holzman, Joshua Merlo and Makayla Merlo. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
