Leonard Morris Nagel Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leonard Morris Nagel of West Bloomfield, Michigan, who passed away on May 31, 2023 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his brother Samuel'Sy'Nagel; his sisters-in-law, Penny Nagel, Marcia Modell Meyers (Steven), Florence Modell Leider (late Sol), Rose Modell Matz (late Ben) and Lily Modell Goldstein; and his parents, Benjamin Nagel and Ethel Matz Nagel.
He is survived by: his spouse Raechel Modell Nagel; his children, Dr. Rodney Nagel, Michelle and Robert Kleiman; his grandchildren, Erica Givens (Charlie), Jordan Kleiman, Haley Nagel and Hannah Nagel; his great grandchild Gillian Harlow Givens; and his siblings-in-law, Jerry, Ella Modell and Trudy Modell Berlin (late Stan). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and friends.
INTERMENT: Will be held in private, OFFICIATING: Rabbi Yisroel Weingarten, SHIVA: The family will gather on Sunday and Monday from 4:00-8:00 P.M. with Religious Services held at 6 P.M. at: Adat Shalom Synagogue, 29901 Middlebelt Road, Farmington Hills, MI 48334 CONTRIBUTIONS: The family suggests that those who wish to further honor the memory of LENNY NAGEL, you may do so by making a contribution to A CHARITY OF YOUR CHOICE.
