He was loved and cherished by many people including: his sons, Donald Weingarden (Cindy), Gary Weingarden (Nicole) and Steven Weingarden (Carolyn); his sister Carolyn Dowd (Peter); and his grandchildren, Allison Weingarden, Taylor, Lauren Weingarden, Rebecca Weingarden, Miriam Weingarden, Margaret Allen, Sage Allen and Brian Gaylord. He was also cherished by other loving family members and friends.

Visitation was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Temple Shir Shalom (3999 Walnut Lake Rd, West Bloomfield Township, MI 48323).
