She was predeceased by: her parents, Daoud Garmo and Jamila Garmo; and her siblings, Sabri Garmo (Dura), Sabria Al Bazzi (Behnam), Jamal Garmo (Wadia), Zuhair Garmo (Samira), Salem Garmo (Sahira), Nazar Garmo (Milad), Nabeel Garmo (Dalia) and Shatha Abbo (Mazen).
She is survived by: her spouse Emad Shimane; and her nieces and nephews, Manar, Maysem, Mirvet, Marvin, Maysoon, Ziad, Wissam, Sara, Louay, Fadi, Andy, Anita, David, Devone, Deena, Jamie, Catherine, Celine, Nicholas, Nicole, Anthony, Monique, Nadine, Patrick and Christine.
