She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Harold Friedman; her children, Kathie Friedman Kasaba (Resât Kasaba) and Jay Friedman (Lisa Lopatin); her grandchildren, Scott Friedman (Michelle Golan Friedman), Sydney Friedman and Melis Kasaba; and her sister-in-law Mildred Zivov. She was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
