He was predeceased by: his grandson Jason Remer; his brother Harvey Remer (late Audrey); and his parents, Freda Remer and Joseph Remer. He is survived by: his spouse Jackie Remer; his children, Erick Remer (Erica), Steven Remer (Dana Rubin-Remer) and Michelle Davis (Howard); his grandchildren, Scott Remer, Alexander Remer, Zachary Remer, Alexa Remer, Lindsey Davis and Brandon Davis; his brother Bernard Remer (late Phyllis); and his brother-in-law Jeffrey Green (Tim Bair).
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Ira Kaufman Chapel (18325 W Nine Mile Rd, Southfield, MI 48075). A burial was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Beth El Memorial Park Cemetery (28120 Six Mile Rd, Livonia, MI 48152).
