It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Diane Kaplan of West Bloomfield, Michigan, who passed away on January 12, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Diane leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her mother Diane (Phil). She is survived by: her husband Phil Kaplan; her children, Dr. Gary Kaplan (Wendy) of Seattle Washington and Janet Halberg (Howard) of Farmington Hills; her grandchildren, Erin Zeitler (Daniel) and Zac Kaplan; her great grandchildren, Riley and Mason Zeitler; and her sister Marlene Nessel. She is also survived by numerous loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
