It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Diane Kaplan of West Bloomfield, Michigan, who passed away on January 12, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Diane leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her mother Diane (Phil). She is survived by: her husband Phil Kaplan; her children, Dr. Gary Kaplan (Wendy) of Seattle Washington and Janet Halberg (Howard) of Farmington Hills; her grandchildren, Erin Zeitler (Daniel) and Zac Kaplan; her great grandchildren, Riley and Mason Zeitler; and her sister Marlene Nessel. She is also survived by numerous loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Adat Shalom Memorial Park Cemetery (28500 Six Mile Rd, Livonia, MI 48152). A reception was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at 4745 Wendrick Dr, West Bloomfield Township, MI 48323.
