He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Joseph Terrell of Nebraska and Janie Stewart-Terrell; his wife Barbara Jean Hill-Terrell; and his siblings, Rev. Theodis Terrell, Dora Lee Bonds, Nezzie Lee Weems and Herman Terrell.
He is survived by: his children, Faye Vaughn, Tammara "Tammy" Terrell, Sandra Johnson (James) and Nathan Terrell (Avril); his grandchildren, Antoine, Jeremiah, Nia, Zechariah, Zoria, Zachary, Ethan and Sanaa; his great grandchild Catalaya; his brother Rev. Al James Terrell (Tina) of Pontiac, MI; and his goddaughter Leah Buggs. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home (268 North Perry St, Pontiac, MI 48342). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church (69 S Astor St, Pontiac, MI 48342).
