He was predeceased by: his brother Sam Monast (late Sylvia). He is survived by: his children, Dale Monast, Sandra Monast and Sheila Reiss (Jeffrey); and his grandchildren, Tory Reiss, Elie Reiss, Arianna Monast, Sarah Monast, Joshua Monast and Leah Monast. He is also survived by other loving family members and friends.

A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 1st 2024 at 6:00 PM at the Dorfman Chapel- Main Chapel. A shiva was held on Wednesday, October 2nd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM and. A burial was held on Wednesday, October 2nd 2024.
