She was predeceased by: her parents, Loring Scantlin and Leona Scantlin (Hike); her former husband Warren Orvell; and also Sally Kay. She is survived by: her son Clinton Curtis Crow; her husband Donald Lynn Curtis; her brother Ralph Jay Scantlin; and her son-in-law Steven James Adams.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for gifts to the Alzheimer's Association Michigan Chapter.
