He is survived by: his wife Linda Kessler; his sons, Paul Schmuckal (Candi) of Traverse City and Richard Schmuckal (Sarah) of Traverse City; and his stepson Terry Hawk (Jennifer) of Mesick. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many other family and friends.
