He was predeceased by: his parents, Martha Mancini and Vernon Gootee; his sister Patricia Bozynski; and his brother-in-law Thomas Lippner. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Gootee; his children, Gregory Gootee (Lesa), Carrie Hall (Sam), Clifford Gootee (Cindy) and Mary Rose Rains; his stepsons, Richard Campbell (Erin) and Nicholas Campbell; his grandchildren, Kennith Gootee, Cody Neff, Iain Neff, Corbin Neff, Jordan Gootee and Emilee Gootee; his stepgrandchildren, Dante Campbell, Giada Bertini and Vada Campbell; his siblings, Debbie Hines (Darrell), Ronald Gootee (Flora) and Libero "Lee" Mancini; and his siblings-in-law, Dennis Lippner (Barbara) and Diana Whitehead (Bobby). He is also survived by 4 nieces and nephews and numerous grand nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations appreciated to Great Lakes Boxer Rescue or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
