She was predeceased by: her parents, David Gauss and Jane Gauss (Oberdorfer). She is survived by: her husband David Buchanan III; and her siblings, Mary Vliek and Dave Gauss (Mary). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
