He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Tufnell and Dora Tufnell (Gustafson); his daughter Tina Tufnell; his grandchildren, Melanie and Christy Tufnell; his daughter-in-law Julie Tufnell; and his brothers, Jeff and David Tufnell.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Lee Peterson; his children, Cory Tufnell of Escanaba, Wendy Tufnell of Wells, Laurie Oslund (Derk) of Wells and Stacey Burie (Chad) of Menominee; his grandchildren, Nathan Tufnell, Marissa Marshall, Makayla Marshall, Alexis Isaacson, Mikey Burie, Sarah Dowd and Hannah Simmons; his great grandchildren, Audrie LaCosse and Anden Dowd; and his siblings, Mike Tufnell (Mary) of Bath, MI, Jeanne Tennyson (Howard) of Roy, WA, Don Tufnell (Deb) of Manistique, MI, Phillip Tufnell of Menominee, MI and Alan Tufnell of Wallace, MI. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
