He was predeceased by: his parents, August Jensen and Clara Jensen (Becker); his children, Lloyd, Jr. and Kathy Jensen; and his siblings, Jim Jensen and Lois Kurhajec.
He is survived by: his wife Alice Olson (Gonsowski) of Anthony's Catholic Church; his son Paul Jensen (Debbie) of Marquette; his stepchildren, James Olson (Sally) of Seattle and Joanne Finnorn (Andrew) of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan; his grandchildren, Celeste, August, Sarah, McCall, Alicia and Aaron; and his sisters, Dorothy Barr and Lorraine Osuldsen. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Anderson Funeral Homes (2200 Ludington St, Escanaba, MI 49829). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Bethany Lutheran Church (202 S 11th St, Escanaba, MI 49829). An entombment was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at the Gardens (6556 US-41, Wells, MI 49894).
Memorials in Lloyd's name may be made to Bethany Lutheran Church in Escanaba, Racine Lutheran High School, or The Kathy Jean Jensen Endowed Scholarship at Michigan Tech University.
