Hazel O. Madalinski Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hazel O. Madalinski of Wells, Michigan, born in Cornell, Michigan, who passed away on February 13, 2021 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles VanDrese and Emma VanDrese (Stache); her husband Walter Madalinski; and her siblings, Harry, Herman, Elmer, Carlton, Alice Brabazon, Pearl Delvaux, Myrtle Trombley and Ethyl Cox.
She is survived by: her sons, Wayne (Mary) of Wells, Dennis (Linda) of Gladstone and Michael (Ruth) of Escanaba; her grandchildren, Kevin Madalinski (Kristyn), Kelly Madalinski (Jen), Kerry Madalinski (Christine), Selena Madalinski Docherty, Brian Madalinski (Michelle), Amanda Stempihar (Robert), Justin Madalinski (Nicole) and Nolan Madalinski; her great grandchildren, Emily, Jacob, Ava, Nora, Sydney, Riley, Eleanor, Gabrielle, Henry, Oliver, Leo, Brooklyn and Declan; her brothers, Gilbert VanDrese and Leonard VanDrese (Marian); and her sister-in-law Betty VanDrese. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family extends their heartfelt thanks to the staff at Cedar Hills Assisted Living for the loving care, kindness and assistance provided to Hazel for the past six plus years, especially these months during the Covid pandemic and her most recent health problems.
