Way of Wells, Michigan, born in Escanaba, Michigan, who passed away on February 24, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John W. Loritz and Vetha Loritz (Gelina); and her siblings, Zephrine Carley, Dorothy Deno and Alfred Loritz.
She is survived by: her husband John "Jack" Way of Wells; her children, Jill Johnsen (Ward) of Escanaba, Mike Way (Sally) of Wells, Tim Way (Deb) of Washington, Connie Christensen (Gary) of Gladstone, Lauri Sturdy (Dale) of Gladstone, Michelle Stoykovich (Tom) of Minnesota and Bob Way of Escanaba; and her grandchildren, Kim Bishop (Jeremy), Erin Lemire (Ryan), Brian Way (Erica), Beth Berube (Louie), Brett Way, James Way (Alexis), Justin Way (Katelin), Dustin Christensen (Brittany), Rachel Pascoe (Jason), Zachary Sturdy, Luke Sturdy and Anna Schultz (Ash). She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Ethelgine's name may be made to St. Anthony's Church in Wells or the American Legion Post 115 Auxiliary in Flat Rock.
