He was predeceased by: his parents, Sanford Coston and Etta Mae Coston (Snyder); his sons, Eric Wayne Coston and Jeffrey Jon Coston; his sister Arlene Phillips; his brothers-in-law, Gordon Augustine, Stan Kioski and Ronnie Conner; and his parents-in-law, Russell and LuCretia "Pat" Conner.
He is survived by: his wife Kaye Coston; his children, Deborah Haines of Pearland, Texas, Kirk Coston of Grand Rapids and Greg Coston of Mt. Pleasant; his grandchildren, Sarah Ann Coston (Michael Kraver) of St. Louis, MO, Kristen Faith Coston of Kalamazoo and Nathan Scott Coston of Grand Rapids; his siblings, John Coston (Ruth) of Stanton, Marilyn Augustine of Ithaca and Sandra Kioski of North Carolina; and his siblings-in-law, Ernie Phillips, Sue Wymer (Larry) of Ithaca and Margie Prevo (Ross) of Cedar Lake. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
