He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Wawersik and Angeline Wawersik (Weber); and his brother Ken Wawersik. He is survived by: his wife Betty Wawersik; his children, Roger Wawersik (Dawn) of Walled Lake, Robin Healy (Liam) of Farmington and Rebecca Wawersik-McDonald (Josh) of Farmington Hills; his grandsons, Austin and Adam Wawersik; his stepgrandchildren, Regan Healy, Savannah Lee and Kevin Lee; and his siblings, Dale Wawersik (Maryann) of Beal City, Theresa Austin of Dewitt, Shirley Meyers of Beverly Hills, FL and Joan Faber of Shepherd.

Memorial contributions may be made to Pardee Cancer Treatment Fund.
