With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Simmer (Weidman, Michigan), born in Mount Pleasant, Michigan, who passed away on August 29, 2019 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Simmer and Cecilia Simmer (Wawersik); his wife Helen Jennings; and his sisters, Mary, Esther and Luella.
He is survived by: his children, Linda Spray, Kay Barrett, Susan Simmer, Barbara Simmer, Betty Robinson (Floyd), Wayne Simmer, Julie Hilderbrand and Roger Simmer (Deborah); and his siblings, Bernard Simmer (Linda), Alice Paisley, Gladys Parker (Roy) and Patricia Reihl. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren.
